2018 Annual Morse Code Contest

March 8, 2018
The first annual Morse code contest was held March 8th. Students in
the after-school program who were in grades 3-5 were eleigible to
enter.

Damien Persinger - 1st Place - $50.00.
Lily Rose - 2nd Place - $30.00.
Mason Mays - 3rd Place- $20.00.
All three winners also received a
Baofeng dual band HT.
Everyone who participated received a
nice certificate and made a "Knight of the Key."
Hopefully, some future radio operators
will be community volunteers in the event we have a natural
disaster or emergencies.
A special thank you to the
Johnsons from Virginia who donated the first place prize. Many
other local folk also donated.
